1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Sweet Synchronicity Dream Journal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Usage

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. One account per person is permitted.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

The App offers a free tier and optional premium subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. By purchasing a subscription you agree to the billing terms of your platform.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods except as required by applicable law.

5. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You agree not to:

1. Upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, threatening, or offensive content.
2. Violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
3. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure.
4. Use the App for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
5. Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits other users from using the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to design, code, graphics, and trademarks — are owned by Beverly J. Otis, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your personal dream entries remain your own content. You grant Beverly J. Otis, LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you.

7. AI-Generated Content & Disclaimers

Dream interpretations, AI-generated insights, and symbol analyses provided by the App are for personal reflection and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional psychological, medical, therapeutic, or any other form of licensed professional advice.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beverly J. Otis, LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

Beverly J. Otis, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate. You may also delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Beverly J. Otis, LLC and its affiliates, officers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
