Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Sweet Synchronicity Dream Journal:

• Dream entries including text, audio recordings, and metadata such as date, emotion, and dream type.
• Your account email, display name, and username.
• Subscription and payment status, processed through RevenueCat.
• Trial usage data and age verification confirmation.

How We Use Your Data

Your dream data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore associated with your user account. Audio recordings are uploaded to Firebase Storage and associated with your account so they are accessible across devices.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Voice Recordings

Voice notes are uploaded securely to Firebase Storage associated with your account. If you use the transcription feature, audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription and then stored as text. Please review OpenAI's privacy policy.

Push Notifications

The app may send local push notifications to remind you about trial expiration and other account activity. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.

Third Party Services

The following third-party services are used to provide the app's functionality:

• Firebase by Google Authentication and data storage — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• OpenAI Whisper API Voice transcription — openai.com/privacy
• RevenueCat Subscription management — revenuecat.com/privacy

Children's Privacy

Sweet Synchronicity Dream Journal is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

California Privacy Rights

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including:

• The right to know what personal information is collected.
• The right to delete personal information.
• The right to opt out of the sale of personal information.

Sweet Synchronicity Dream Journal does not sell personal information.

Your Rights

You can delete your dreams at any time within the app. You can disable push notifications through your device settings. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@beverlyotisdesign.app.
