How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from within the Sweet Synchronicity Dream Journal app at any time. Follow these steps:

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Read the confirmation message carefully.
5. Enter your password to confirm.
6. Tap Delete Account to permanently delete your account.

What Gets Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the following from our systems:

• Your account and login credentials.
• All dream entries, including text and metadata.
• All voice recordings stored in Firebase Storage.
• Your profile information, including display name and username.
• Your subscription record in our database.

This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Data Retained by Third-Party AI Services

If you previously used Premium features, copies of dream text or voice recordings that were sent to Anthropic for analysis or OpenAI for transcription may remain on those platforms for up to 30 days — or longer if legally required — after which they are purged in accordance with their respective data retention policies.

Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) before or after deleting your account.

Subscription billing is handled directly by Apple or Google, not by Sweet Synchronicity Dream Journal.
